I was born and raised in the old and beautiful city of Kiev, Ukraine. Most of my childhood was spent wandering the aged curved streets of Kiev that are filled with legends, myths and stories. I studied art, architecture and theater in Kiev. I came to the United States in 1998 and continued my education in art. I graduated from Columbus College of Art and Design in 2004 with a Bachelor of arts degree in illustration.
